Our office is up at A/55 Data Nagar, on the Jatiya Hills along Rembul Road in Ajmer. Being on the hills means we get a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy with the paperwork to look out the window much. The road can be a bit steep, so it’s a quiet area without too much heavy traffic right at our doorstep. We’ve got a decent-sized room where we keep all the records and manage the distribution for this side of Ajmer. It’s a simple setup with some basic metal desks and plastic chairs. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, talking to the warehouse and the transport guys. The walls are a bit bare, maybe just a few old posters and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We don’t mind it. It’s a practical space for practical people. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or ride our scooters to work. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our morning biscuits. The atmosphere in the office is pretty casual. We don't wear suits or have big meetings. We just sit down and get through the tasks for the day. Sometimes the monkeys from the hills come onto the roof, which can be a bit noisy. It’s just part of working in this location. We like the honesty of the work we do here.
