We are right here at the Shree Cement Ltd. site in Beawar, Rajasthan. This is where a lot of the actual civil work and coordination happens. Kp Shringi and the rest of the team are usually busy with the technical side of things and keeping the site running. It’s a dusty, busy place, which is exactly what you expect from a cement plant area. We don’t have much in the way of air-conditioned offices or fancy furniture. Most of our day is spent out on the site or in small cabins checking plans and schedules. It’s a very hands-on environment. We’ve been part of the Beawar landscape for a long time, and the work hasn't changed much over the years. It’s still about getting the mix right and making sure the infrastructure holds up. We don't use big words or try to sell ourselves to anyone. The cement speaks for itself once it’s in the ground or the walls of a new house. There’s a lot of noise from the machinery and the trucks moving in and out, but you get used to it. We just focus on the task at hand. If there’s a problem with a batch or a delivery, we fix it and move on. No one here cares much for corporate polish or fancy meetings. We’re more concerned with the quality of the work and making sure we hit our daily deadlines. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially in the heat, but it’s what we know. We’re just a bunch of people who enjoy the practical side of building things.
