Shiv Provision Store

Shiv Provision Store is over on Jaipur Road in Panchsheel Nagar, specifically on Makarwali Road at address A-300. It’s a newer part of the area compared to the old markets, so the streets are a bit wider here. We’ve been serving the people in the Panchsheel Nagar blocks for a while now. The shop is on the ground floor of the building. We try to keep a bit of everything because there aren't too many other shops right on this stretch of Makarwali Road. You can find your basic groceries, some stationery items, and even some cold drinks in the small fridge we have in the corner. It’s mostly families living around here, so we get a lot of mothers coming in during the day and men stopping by on their way home from work in the evening. I keep a notebook where I write down things people ask for that we don't have, so I can try to get them from the wholesaler next time I go. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually pull down the shade for a couple of hours. It’s a nice neighborhood to be in. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town or anything. We just want to make sure the people living nearby can get their tea and sugar without having to drive all the way into the main city.
