Running Sarjan Academy over in Vaishali Nagar 1 has been a real journey for us. It isn't one of those massive institutions you see on TV with glass walls. It's more of a local spot where we focus on what the students actually need. The neighborhood is quiet enough, which helps when we're trying to get through the daily lessons. I remember when we first opened the doors, the walls were bare and we only had a few chairs. Now, it feels a bit more lived in. Every morning starts about the same way, opening up the shutters and getting the rooms ready. We see the same faces every day, kids from around the block mostly. It’s nice to see them grow up and get better at their subjects. Sometimes the AC acts up in the heat, or we run out of chalk, but we manage. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just about the books and the learning. Vaishali Nagar is a good place for this kind of work because families really care about how their children are doing. We spend a lot of time just talking to parents at the door. There's no big corporate office behind us, just us and the curriculum. It’s a lot of hard work, but when the exam results come out and everyone is happy, it feels like we did something right for the people in our community.
