Our office is in Ajmer, specifically on Sharda Marg in the Civil Lines area. We are located on the third floor of what used to be called Har Bilas, spanning Plot No. 1 and 2. Civil Lines is generally a bit more organized than other parts of town, but it still has its quirks. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you find Sharda Marg, it is not too hard to spot the building. We work on infrastructure solutions at Sambhav Infra Solutions Llp, which mostly means a lot of technical planning and coordination from our desks. The office has a very basic setup. We have some chairs, a few big tables for drawings, and a corner where we keep the water cooler. It gets quite warm in Ajmer during the summer months, so our fans are always running at full speed. We are a small team and everyone knows what they need to do. There isn’t a lot of hierarchy here; we just sit together and work through whatever problems come up. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work on physical files for a while. It is just a part of the daily life for us here in Ajmer as we do our work.
