Sagi Gift Shop

Our place, Sagi Gift Shop, is located right near the City Power House on Srinagar Road. It’s a good landmark, so people usually don't have trouble finding us. The road is always humming with activity because of the power house and the other shops nearby. We’ve got a decent-sized space here, filled with a bit of everything. We have racks of greeting cards and shelves with mugs, figurines, and some local handicrafts. We don't really have a specialty; we just stock what we think looks decent. The shop gets a bit warm in the summer, so we have a couple of big fans going all the time. They make a lot of noise, but they help keep the air moving. We spend our mornings checking the stock and seeing what needs to be reordered. We aren't very tech-savvy, so we don't have any online shop or social media. We just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a very traditional way of running a business, but it has worked for us so far. We like the direct contact with people. You get to hear all the local news and gossip while you’re wrapping up a gift for someone's wedding. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just light a few candles and keep going until it comes back. It’s just how things are around here. We’re happy with our little spot on Srinagar Road and hope to stay for a long time.
