Jaipur Road is always busy with trucks and cars heading out of town, and S S Auto Agency is right in the middle of it at Khailand Market. Our shop is number 4, and it’s a place where things are a bit greasy and cluttered. We have parts and tools scattered across the back workbench, and no matter how much I clean, there’s always a layer of fine dust from the road. The walls are covered with old calendars and charts for different engine parts. It’s a small space, so you have to step over boxes of filters and oil cans just to get to the desk. The desk itself is covered in grease stains and old receipts that I keep meaning to file away. Most of the people who come in are mechanics or drivers who are in a hurry to get back on the road. We don't do any of that fancy marketing; people just know we have the stuff they need for their vehicles. The light inside is a bit dim, especially on cloudy days, but I know where every bolt and belt is kept. It’s loud because of the traffic outside, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. It’s a practical place, and we don't worry much about how it looks as long as we can find what’s needed.
