We are situated out on the Jaipur Bypass Road, right near the Parle factory in the Sendheiry area of Ajmer. You can usually tell where we are because of the smell of biscuits baking nearby, which is one of the better parts of working here. The office is close to the road so it gets quite a bit of dust from the trucks passing by. We are enviro engineers, so we deal with a lot of waste management and technical stuff. Our yard is usually full of equipment or trucks waiting to go out. It’s a hot part of the country and the sun really beats down on the corrugated roof in the summer. We have a small office section that is air-conditioned, which is where we do the planning and the paperwork. The rest of the space is for the gear and the maintenance work. We aren't big on decorations. The walls have some maps and some safety posters. Most of our guys are out on the road or at project sites most of the time. It’s a hardworking environment and things can get a bit grimy. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the direct sun when we can. It’s a solid team and we’ve been at this Ajmer location for a good while. We just focus on getting the jobs finished.
