Rajasthan Trading Company

Down here at 39, Badhi Nagfami, the days usually start early before the sun gets too high over Boraj Road. Rajasthan Trading Company has been operating from this spot on Gopal Kund Marg for a while now. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the storage area filled with whatever we are trading at the time, and a small space where we keep the books and handle the paperwork. Dealing with suppliers and customers takes up most of the day. There’s a lot of talking, a lot of checking lists, and making sure things are moving where they need to go. The road outside can get pretty dusty, and there is always someone passing by or a vehicle loading up. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn’t really affect how we trade. It’s more about knowing the items and knowing who needs them. Sometimes the ledger doesn't balance on the first try, or a shipment gets delayed somewhere on the highway, and you just have to deal with it. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the fans going when it gets stuffy inside. It’s just regular work, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve become part of the neighborhood over the years, and most people around here know where to find us if they need something.
