R. K. Construction

Our office is tucked away in Emp 7/302, Thakur Village, over in Kandivali East. It’s more of a home base for us than a fancy corporate office. Since we are in construction, we spend most of our time out at different sites rather than sitting behind a desk. R. K. Construction has been around this part of Mumbai for quite a bit. We handle various building tasks, from small repairs to bigger structural work. We don’t have a huge team of architects in fancy suits. Instead, we have a bunch of reliable guys who know how to work with their hands. Sometimes things go wrong on a site—maybe the weather holds us up or a delivery is late—and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We aren’t the type to give you a glossy brochure. We’d rather just show you some of the walls we’ve built or the floors we’ve laid. Our paperwork is mostly kept in a few old folders in the office. We just try to be straight with people about how much a job will cost and how long it will take. It’s hard, physical work and it can get messy, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we know our way around a building site. We mostly rely on people telling their friends about us when we finish a job, so we just focus on doing the work right and moving on.
