We’ve set up our office at 59, Mahadeo Totla Nagar, which is just off Kanadia Road. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here for a good while now. R. J. International isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We are a small team that handles a lot of different trading tasks. Our desks are usually covered in shipping documents and customs forms. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with suppliers and logistics companies. Some days are incredibly slow while we wait for news, and other days we can’t even find time to eat lunch because everything is happening at once. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for guests; we just have our workspace and a lot of filing cabinets. We focus on the practical side of moving goods from one place to another. We’ve made our share of mistakes over the years, but we always try to fix them and keep things moving. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just trading and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s our daily bread and butter, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it here in Indore. Even when the power goes out or the internet is slow, we find a way to get the job done and keep our clients updated on their stuff. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we do.
