Malleswaram has a certain feel to it, especially around 14th Cross. We are located at 141 Margosa Road, inside Prithvi Apartments. It's a bit unusual having a business like R. G. Soaps & Detergent (P) Ltd. in an apartment building, but it works for us. The trees along Margosa Road provide some nice shade when you're walking in. Our space is functional, mostly filled with boxes and some supplies. It’s not like those fancy corporate offices you see downtown. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. The neighbors in the building are mostly quiet. Sometimes you can smell the soap products we handle, which isn't a bad thing. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to drop things without looking at the sign. The floors are a bit worn down from people moving things back and forth. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big delivery, but we manage. Malleswaram is a good area because you have everything nearby. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door. Most of the folks who come by are regulars who know the way. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. No need for anything more complicated than what we have right now. It's been our home for many years and we're used to the quirks.
