Pitamber Plastic Stone

Pitamber Plastic Stone is located on Cinema Road in Cananduspura. The name says it all, we deal with plastic and stone items. It’s a bit of an odd mix if you think about it, but it’s what we do here. The shop is right where the old cinema used to be a big draw for people, so everyone still uses that as a landmark. We have piles of stuff in the back and a few displays in the front window. It’s heavy work sometimes, moving the stone pieces around. The plastic items are easier to handle, obviously. My brother and I run the place. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our reputation in the area. People come to us when they are building something or just need basic supplies for a project. Cinema Road is always dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the products before showing them to customers. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or marketing. The inventory is what matters most to us. Sometimes the delivery truck can't find us because the road gets so crowded with bikes and carts, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you’ve been in the same spot for years. We keep the ledger by hand and try to stay organized. It’s a busy life but we’re used to the grind of it by now.
