Nilloy International

Living and working near the Nasirabad Shiv Nagar area means you get used to the sound of the trains pretty fast. Nilloy International is right near the Railway Over Bridge, so there’s always that rhythmic thumping when a freight train goes by. It’s become a part of our daily background noise. The office isn’t anything special to look at from the outside, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at shipping papers. Dealing with international stuff usually means someone is always working odd hours because of the time zones. We have a small kettle in the corner that’s basically the most important piece of equipment we own. Shiv Nagar is a crowded spot, and finding parking near the bridge is always a bit of a gamble in the mornings. We’ve had to move things around inside a lot to make room for new stuff coming in. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to actually do it yet. Most days are just a cycle of checking lists and making sure things are headed where they need to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday.
