New Lovely Watch Service

My shop, New Lovely Watch Service, is tucked away in Dhan Mandi over in Dargah Bazar. If you know the bazaar, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. I have been sitting at this same bench for a long time now. People bring in all sorts of watches, some old ones their grandfathers gave them and some cheap plastic ones too. I fix them all the same. I use a little magnifying glass that stays on my eye for hours. My eyes get tired, but that is the job. The bazaar is full of smells and sounds. You can hear the prayers from the Dargah and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. It is a small space, just enough for me and my tools. I have shelves full of tiny parts and batteries that I have collected. Sometimes someone comes in just to ask the time because their watch stopped. I do not mind. I like talking to the people who pass through. It is a simple life. I open early and stay until the sun goes down. The street gets narrow and you have to watch your step. I do not use any machines to do the work, just my hands and a few small screwdrivers. It is quiet work in a loud place. People know me as the watch guy in Dhan Mandi. I just keep the clocks ticking.
