Naveen Motors

Naveen Motors is located on Kota Road in Kekri. If you're coming into town, we're right near the Chungi Naka. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic every single day. We spend most of our time out in the front where the vehicles are parked. It’s a dusty place because of all the cars and buses passing by on the main road. We do a lot of repairs and general maintenance on different types of motors. The shop itself is quite old, and we have tools that have been passed down or used for years. We don't bother much with painting the walls or making things look pretty. As long as the engines are running right, that’s what matters to us. You can usually find a few of us standing around a bike or a car, figuring out what the noise is. We have a small bench where people wait, but most customers just stand and talk while we work. The Chungi Naka is a good landmark, so nobody really gets lost looking for us. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to use torches to see what we're doing in the back of the shop. It’s just how things go here. We open up early and stay until the last job is done for the day. There is always a lot of noise from the road, but we've gotten used to it after all these years on Kota Road.
