Nagwan General Store

Nagwan General Store is located in the Sadar Bazaar area of Pisangan. We are right opposite the Hanuman Temple, which is the heart of the market. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the bells from the temple are ringing all day long and the whole street gets very crowded with people coming for prayers. It is a very lively place to have a shop. We sell a bit of everything here. Since it is a general store in a bazaar, people expect us to have whatever small thing they might have forgotten. The shelves are a mix of different products and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer wants. The shop has been here for a long time and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories about the bazaar. It is a very honest kind of work. We don't use any fancy marketing. We just rely on being in a good spot where everyone passes by. I usually spend the early morning cleaning the front step and getting the loose items ready for sale. The dust from the bazaar road is a constant battle, but we do our best. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It is a close community. We don't have a website or use a computer for our accounts; we still do most things the old-fashioned way with a pen and a notebook. It works for us and our customers like the familiarity.
