M/S Shree Cemen Ltd., (P&A Deptt.) Bangur Nagar, Beawar

Our office belongs to the P&A department of the cement works in Beawar. We are located at Naya Bass, right across from the Rajput Temple. It is a very recognizable spot in town, and there is always a lot of activity happening outside our doors. Sandeep Chouhan is the main person who runs things here, and he handles a lot of the day-to-day administration. The office is where all the paperwork for the staff and the plant gets processed. It is an older building with high ceilings and heavy fans that try to keep the Rajasthan heat at bay. You can often hear the sounds from the temple prayers throughout the day, which gives the place a unique feeling. We have stacks of files on every surface and a lot of people coming in and out to sign documents or ask questions about their work. It is a very busy environment, but we try to keep things as organized as possible. We don't have a lot of modern decor, just some basic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The work is mostly about managing the people and making sure the administration side of the cement business stays on track. Most of us have been in Beawar for a long time, so we know most of the workers by name. It is a practical job that keeps us very busy.
