Morchari Foundation

Morchari Foundation is based out of a house in Sarswati Colony, over in the Dhola Bhata area of Ajmer. Specifically, we are at house number 672/42. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, which we prefer over the busy market areas. You can hear the birds in the morning, and the neighbors all know each other. Working out of a house makes everything feel more personal. We aren't tucked away in some tall office building with elevators. You just walk up to the door and knock. Most of our work happens right here at the kitchen table or in the small front room we set up with some files. Ajmer is a beautiful place to live and work, and being in Dhola Bhata keeps us grounded. We’ve had the foundation going for some time now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who live nearby. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly helping folks in the colony or from the surrounding parts of town. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water pressure is low, but that’s just life here. We don't try to act like we’re bigger than we are. It’s just a local foundation run by people who actually live in the community. If you’re ever in Sarswati Colony, you’ll probably see us out front at some point. It’s a simple life, but the work is good.
