Medicine Agencies is situated in Bimla Market, right on Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement. You hear the trains every now and then, and there are always people rushing with luggage nearby. Bimla Market is a busy hub for people coming from different parts of the city. Our office is a bit of a functional space. We have large wooden tables where we sort through everything. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have calendars from three different years hanging up because we forget to take the old ones down. It is a very practical setup. We don't have any soft chairs or decorations. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep. We deal with a lot of boxes coming in from the station side. Sometimes the road gets blocked by big trucks, and we have to wait to move our stock. We have a small corner with a gas ring to make coffee when the nights get long. The people working here have been together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done. It is not a place for tourists or casual shoppers. We are here to handle the logistics and the paperwork. It gets a bit chaotic on Mondays, but we have a system that works for us. The tea guy comes around at four, and that is usually our favorite time of day. We just get on with it.
