Mateshwari Electronics

Our shop, Mateshwari Electronics, is located on Madar Gate Road in Kawandas Pura. It’s a very old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always packed with people and rickshaws. We have been here for quite some time now. The shelves are packed with all sorts of components, wires, and old parts that we might need one day. It looks a bit disorganized to someone else, but I know exactly where everything is. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we do most of the soldering near the front door where the sunlight comes in. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have a small ceiling fan that keeps the air moving a little bit. We don’t really do any big marketing. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this road for years to get their electronics fixed. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work on their stuff. It’s a slow process sometimes because some of these old gadgets are tricky to figure out. We don’t make any big promises about speed. We just do the work until it’s finished properly. It’s a quiet life for the most part, despite all the noise from the street outside. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close when it gets dark.
