Lalit General Store

If you go down Dhola Bhata Road towards Meenakshi Garden, you will find us. It is a nice enough area and we have been here for a good while. The store is basically a part of the daily life for the people living in Dhola Bhatta. We carry all the things you would expect, like spices, cleaners, and snacks for the kids. The shop gets quite bright in the morning when the sun hits the front. We have some crates stacked up outside usually when the deliveries come in. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs hang out near the entrance for a bit of shade. It is a local place through and through. I know most of the kids who come in by name, and I have seen some of them grow up. We do not really do anything special, just keep the shelves full and the scale working. The scale is a bit old, but it is accurate enough for what we do. We have bags of grains and lentils sitting on the floor because the shelves are already full. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, so we mostly serve the families right around here. Life is quiet enough except when there is a function at the garden nearby. Then things get a bit more hectic with people looking for last-minute items. It is just a regular shop doing its thing in the colony.
