Lakshmi Jyotish Kendra

Lakshmi Jyotish Kendra is located at Goddi No 80 in Ajmer. It is a fairly simple place where people come when they have things on their minds. Usually, the day starts with cleaning the space and setting out the chairs for whoever might drop by later on. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are worried about work, and others are just curious about what the charts say for the coming months. We do not use any fancy computers or anything like that; it is mostly just old books and hand-drawn calculations on bits of paper. The street outside can be quite noisy with the bikes and the local market nearby, but inside it stays relatively quiet. We always have a pot of tea ready because conversations tend to go on for a while once people get comfortable. Sometimes someone comes in with a very old family document that is hard to read, and we spend the whole afternoon trying to make sense of it together. It is not a fast-paced environment at all. We take our time with everyone who walks through the door because that is what they need. There is a certain routine to the day that feels right to us. We have been in this same spot for a long time now, so most of the locals know exactly where to find us when they need a talk.
