Khas Export

Khas Export is tucked away at 178/5 Shisha Khan. We are right near the Power House in Diggi Bazar, on Peer Road near Chand Babri. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history. Our building is old, and you have to know where you’re going to find us. We handle a lot of different things for export, which means there is always paperwork lying around. The desks are usually covered in files and sample pieces. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we have a system that works for us. The area around Diggi Bazar is always full of activity, with trucks coming in and out. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that it takes forever for a shipment to leave. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different people about where things are. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. The tea stall around the corner is where we get our morning chai, and that’s usually the highlight of the day. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a practical space where we can get the work done. The heat in the afternoon can be tough, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been at this Peer Road location for a long time and know most of the other business owners nearby. It is just work.
