Impact Academy

Impact Academy is right here in Shastri Nagar. It is a busy part of town and we are tucked away where the students can find us easily without much trouble. The rooms aren't huge but we have enough space for chairs and whiteboards. Every day there is a lot of noise from the street outside, but we just get used to it after a while and stop noticing. We started this place because we wanted to have a spot for people to come and learn things without it being too formal or scary. We have piles of books everywhere and some old fans that hum when it gets warm in the afternoons. It’s a very local feel here. You won’t find any shiny glass walls or expensive furniture. Most of what we have is just practical stuff that helps us get through the day. The neighbors know us and we often see the same faces every morning when we open the doors. We don’t spend much on decorations because we’d rather just have good light for reading and writing. Sometimes the chalk runs out or the markers go dry, and one of us has to run down to the shop nearby to get more. It is just a regular school setup in a regular neighborhood. We open up early and sometimes stay late if people need extra time with their work. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us trying to keep things running for everyone who comes in.
