Ice Cream

Our shop, simply called Ice Cream, is over on Dhola Bhatta Road. It’s right in the middle of the Dhola Bhatta area. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood come by. We don’t have a big fancy name or anything. The address is easy to find if you know this part of the city. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The shop is small and we keep our stock in the back. It’s mostly just me running the place. Sometimes my brother comes to help in the evenings when the kids come out to play. The road outside can be quite dusty and the traffic is mostly scooters and bicycles. It’s a very local vibe here. We don’t get many tourists, just people who live around Dhola Bhatta. The shop isn't perfectly painted and the sign is a bit old, but it works. We have a few benches outside where people sit and talk. It’s a good way to stay connected with what’s happening in the neighborhood. I like being here because I know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s not a business that’s going to make us rich, but it keeps us busy. We just keep the freezers running and wait for the next customer to show up. It’s a simple way to spend the day on Dhola Bhatta Road. We don't have much, but we have enough for us.
