Dev International

You can find us at Plot No-4, right near the Pani Darwaja and the Arya Samaj Temple. Being so close to the temple means we get to hear the bells sometimes, which is a nice change from the usual office sounds. Dev International is what we call ourselves, but we are just a regular business operating out of this plot. It’s a sturdy building, and we’ve made it our own over the years. We deal with international trade, which sounds fancy, but most of it is just making sure boxes get to the right place and that the paperwork is signed correctly. There’s usually a bit of a mess on the desks because we’re always in the middle of three things at once. We don't have a uniform or any strict rules about how people should look, as long as the work is finished on time. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, so we keep the windows open to catch a breeze. We know the people who live and work around Pani Darwaja, and it’s a friendly enough neighborhood. We spend our lunch hours talking about local news or what’s happening in the city. It’s a grounded way to work. We don't spend money on expensive marketing or glossy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a while and people know where to find us. It’s a simple setup for a busy day.
