Design Ahead Architects

Our office is at 54, Gulab Kunj in the Navgrah Colony, which is on Pushkar Road in Ajmer. We are in the Ram Nagar area, not far from the Jograj Dharmshala. It’s a pretty easy place to get to if you’re coming from the main part of town. As architects, we spend a lot of our time thinking about how to make buildings work better for the people living in them. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group working out of this space in the 305004 area. Every morning starts with checking emails and looking over the sketches we made the day before. Some days we spend hours at site visits, climbing over half-finished walls and talking to the masons about the plans. It’s often hot and dusty work, but it’s necessary to make sure things are going right. We don't go in for flashy marketing or anything like that. We just talk to folks about what they want and try to draw it up in a way that makes sense. The office is usually filled with the sound of computers and the occasional argument over a design detail. We like being on Pushkar Road because there’s always something happening nearby. We’ve been doing this for a while and have handled all sorts of different builds around Ajmer. It’s mostly about solving problems and making sure the measurements are right.
