Chishtia Tour & Travels

Chishtia Tour & Travels is inside Delhi Gate, right in the heart of the Dargah Bazar area. This is a very busy part of Ajmer because of the Dargah Shareef. There are always people walking by, vendors selling things, and a lot of noise from the street. Our office is just a small space tucked into this lively neighborhood. Because we are so close to the Dargah, we see all kinds of people from all over the country. We help with travel plans, mostly just giving people information and booking their trips. The space inside is quite narrow and we have to keep things very organized so we don't lose track of anyone’s details. It gets very hot in the summer months and the breeze doesn't always reach inside the bazaar stalls, but we have our fans going. We have been in Dargah Bazar for quite some time now and we know the rhythms of the street. When the prayers happen, things get a bit quieter for a moment, and then the rush starts again. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just find us because they are already in the area visiting the shrine. It’s a practical business. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day and talk to the neighbors. If you are walking through Delhi Gate, just look for us among the shops. We are usually there from morning until late evening, six days a week for the travelers.
