Business Mates

You can find us at 9 Ashaganj, right in the Khailand Market area. It’s a crowded spot, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. Business Mates is a small setup. We do a bit of everything related to office supplies and paperwork. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific pen or a certain type of paper right away, but we usually know where everything is hidden. The market noise is constant, but you get used to the shouting and the scooters. We've been here long enough that the other shopkeepers are like neighbors. We drink tea together in the mornings before the rush starts. It’s a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We spend our time answering questions and checking the ledgers. It gets dusty in Khailand Market because of the road work nearby. We try to keep the counters clean, but it's a losing battle most days. We help people with their basic business needs, nothing too fancy. It’s just us and the inventory. We close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet down. Every day is pretty much the same, and we like it that way. It’s a steady rhythm of work and talking to whoever walks through the door. It keeps us going day after day.
