Bharat Gift & Gems

Bharat Gift & Gems is situated right near Dargha Sariff in the Nala Bazar area. Being so close to the Dargah means there are always people walking by, day and night. It’s a lively spot to have a shop. We deal in gifts and some gem pieces, mostly things people pick up while they are visiting the area or looking for something special for a family event. Nala Bazar is a narrow street and it stays quite packed. Our shop isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have to show off the different items. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, either too hot or raining, but the shop stays open regardless. We have been here long enough that most of the other shopkeepers are like neighbors to us. We just do our work, talk to the customers, and keep things moving. There isn't any big story behind it, just a family-run business trying to provide what people are looking for when they step inside. We get a mix of locals and people from out of town because of the location. The gems we have are tucked away in the cases, and the gift items are more out in the open where you can see them. It's a busy life here in the bazar, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It keeps us on our toes every single day and we are glad to be here near such a famous spot. The noise of the street is just part of our life now.
