Assan Das

My name is Assan Das and I have my place on Nasirabad Sadar Bazar Road in Nasirabad. It has been a long time since we started out here. Sadar Bazar Road is always full of people and noise, which is just part of the life here in Nasirabad. My shop is not very large, but it serves the purpose. I deal with all sorts of general items that people need for their daily lives. I usually sit near the front door so I can see everyone passing by. Most of my customers are regulars who live just a few streets away. We talk about the weather or local news while I pack their items. It's a simple setup. I don't believe in making things complicated with fancy displays or lights. Everything is stacked where I can reach it. The traffic on Sadar Bazar Road can get quite heavy in the afternoons, making it hard for carts to get through. I’ve lived in Nasirabad my whole life, so this shop feels like home. I open up early when the air is still cool. Sometimes my son helps me out when things get busy during the festival seasons. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the name Assan Das on the front. People find us because they’ve been coming here for generations. It is just a regular way of life for us and we keep going day after day.
