Ankita Kirana Store

Ankita Kirana Store is situated on Foy Sagar Road in the Tehsil Sarwal Fatehganj area. It is a decent spot not too far from the lake, and we get a lot of people stopping by on their way home. The shop is filled with the usual things like lentils, spices, and cleaning supplies. We try to keep a good stock of the basic things because that is what everyone in Fatehganj is looking for. The shelves are mostly made of old wood, and they are starting to sag a little under the weight of all the canned goods and jars. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing with all the different brands, but we manage to find what people want eventually. The road outside can get muddy when it rains, and we spend a lot of time mopping the floor to keep the shop looking okay. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time, just bagging up flour or counting out eggs. We have a small bench outside where some of the older men from the neighborhood sit and talk sometimes. We are just a regular family-run place, nothing special to look at from the outside. The days are long, but we like being part of the community here on Foy Sagar Road. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in, whether they need a full bag of rice or just a box of matches.
