Out here in the Riico Industrial Area in Palra, at Plot No. F 198, is where Anant Ashish Rolling Private Limited is based. We run a rolling mill, and it’s the kind of work that keeps you on your toes. It gets incredibly hot in the shed during the summer, especially when the machines are running full tilt. We’ve been here for several years now. The machinery is heavy and takes a lot of maintenance to keep it from breaking down. We have a group of guys who have been working with us for a long time and they know exactly how everything works. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, we’re all out on the floor with grease on our hands. Palra is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it gives us the space we need for the trucks and the raw materials. It can get pretty hectic when the shipments are coming in and out at the same time. We don't use any big words or corporate talk about our goals. We just roll the steel and try to make sure we’re doing it right. The floor is covered in oil stains and the air has that metallic smell you only find in mills. We’re just a regular business doing what we know best.
