Ambica Slate Stone

You can find Ambica Slate Stone over at Riico-Ii, right near the Power House on Ajmer Road. It’s an easy spot to find if you know where the power house is. This area is mostly industrial, so there are always trucks moving in and out. We work with slate and stone, which means the yard is full of different types of rock. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just a desk under a tin roof where we keep the books. The sun can be pretty brutal on Ajmer Road, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done in the early morning. We deal with slate in all sorts of sizes. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the stone chips and dirt, but that is to be expected in this line of work. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. We just show up, see what orders need to be filled, and get the stone ready. The neighbors are other stone yards and small workshops, so it’s a community of people who work with their hands. We’ve been here at Riico-Ii for a long time. People know they can just stop by and see what we have in stock. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show the stone as it is and help load it up.
