Am Tilwani Barten Bhandar

We are located right in the middle of Nala Bazar. Am Tilwani Barten Bhandar is a shop full of steel and copper. If you come inside you will see piles of plates and spoons everywhere. Sometimes it is hard to walk through the aisles because we have so many boxes of cookers and pots stacked on the floor. My father started this and now we just keep it going every day from morning until late evening. The market is always crowded so it gets quite loud with all the shouting and the scooters passing by. We don't use any computers for billing, just a notebook and a pen like we always have. It works fine for us. A lot of families come here when they are getting ready for a wedding to buy large sets of utensils. We spend a lot of time polishing the brass items so they look nice on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of space and have to move things to the small room upstairs. It is a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is. If you need a specific size of tiffin box we can usually find it under a pile somewhere. We don't do much advertising because people know where we are. Just look for the shop with the stainless steel buckets hanging outside. It is just a regular shop doing regular business with the locals here and we enjoy the daily chatter with our old customers.
