Akshay Swachh Jal Foundation

Akshay Swachh Jal Foundation is located in Ajmer at Kacheri Road. Our house is Phool Haveli, House No. 47/12, also called Phool Nivas. The pin code is 305001. We’ve been around this part of Ajmer for a long time now. The foundation mostly looks at water stuff because clean water is always a topic around here. It isn't a big corporate office with fancy lights or anything. It's a real house where we keep our desks and files. Some days the tap runs dry and we have to fix it ourselves, which is funny considering what we do. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the neighborhood who come by the haveli. They usually have questions about filters or just want to tell us about a leak down the street. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the area well. We don't go around making big promises or using fancy words. We just try to help out where we can with the water situations. It’s dusty work and sometimes the paperwork piles up on the old wooden tables. We drink a lot of tea and just get on with things. If you're walking down Kacheri Road, you'll see the sign for Phool Nivas. It’s a bit faded but it's there. We like being part of the community here in Ajmer. It's just a regular life for us and we keep busy with the daily chores.
