Ajyodhya Textile

Our facility is located in the Kishangarh Hi-Tech Textile Park, specifically in the Silora Riico Area. Being in a textile park means we’re surrounded by similar businesses. It’s a vast area with lots of big sheds and industrial buildings. Our spot is pretty much like the others—functional and busy. We deal with textiles, so there’s a lot of dust and lint in the air, and the machines make a steady humming sound all day. It’s a big space because we need room for the looms and the storage of the fabric rolls. We start our shifts early to beat the Rajasthan heat. Most of the people working here have been in the textile trade for a long time. They know how to listen to a machine and tell if something is wrong. We don’t have a corporate structure. The owner is usually on the floor or in the small office right by the entrance. It’s a dusty, loud, and honest place to work. We spend our time checking the threads and making sure the patterns are coming out okay. The Riico area is always busy with trucks coming in to pick up loads of fabric. It’s a simple life focused on production. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just make the cloth and try to keep the machines running without too much trouble. It is hard work but it is what we know and what we do every single day.
