Our processing unit is located in Mission Veng, Aizawl. We are at Mv-14, which is a place we’ve become very familiar with over the years. Processing meat is hard work and it isn't always pretty. It involves a lot of manual labor and long hours on our feet. We start early and sometimes don't finish until late in the evening. Mizoram’s hills make everything a bit more complicated, especially when we have to transport goods to different parts of the district. We have a small crew and we don't really bother with fancy titles or meetings. We just get in, do the work, and go home. Our office is just a corner of the building where we keep the logs and the receipts. It’s usually a bit cold in the mornings, so we drink a lot of coffee to stay warm. We don't have a PR team or any big plans for world domination. We just want to provide a reliable source of meat for the local community here. Sometimes the equipment breaks down or the suppliers are late, and we have to scramble to get things back on track. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We all know each other well and we just speak our minds. It’s an honest way to make a living in a town we love. We don’t make big promises; we just try to do a decent job every single day.
