We have been sitting here at Zarkawt Main Street for quite some time now. If you know the Traffic Point in Aizawl, we are right there. Most days it is just us handling phones and writing down names for trips. It gets pretty loud outside with all the cars but we are used to it. People walk in asking about bus timings or if there is a spare seat for a long ride. We just try to get the paperwork right so nobody gets stuck halfway. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to do things the old way with pens and big ledgers. It is a small office, nothing fancy. We have a few chairs for people to wait if they are early. Aizawl is a hilly place so travel takes time, and we understand that. We spend our mornings checking the schedules. Usually, it is a bit of a rush before the first departures. Our neighbor's shop sometimes shares tea with us. It’s a simple routine here. Most folks who come by are just trying to get home or visit family. We keep the doors open through the day. If you are near the traffic point, you will see our sign. It is not a big place but we do what we can to help people find their way. That is basically how we spend our weeks here in Zarkawt.
