Reliance

Our office is located inside the Hotel Cheif building over in Zarkawt, Aizwal. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town, so most people don't have trouble finding us. Working here in Mizoram is a bit different because of the hills and the way the town is laid out. We’ve been set up here for Reliance for quite some time. It’s a relatively quiet space compared to some of our other locations. We have a few rooms where we manage our daily operations and meet with people. The view from the windows is actually quite nice, looking out over the slopes of Aizwal. We keep things very informal here. There is no corporate dress code; we just dress for the weather and the work. Most of our day is spent dealing with local requests and keeping the paperwork in order. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy signs. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We sit down, offer them a seat, and talk about whatever they need. It’s a very direct and human way of doing things. The staff here is small, so we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning the desks to filing reports. It’s just a regular office in a hotel, doing what we can to stay helpful. We like the pace here and how we can just talk to people like neighbors.
