F Hrangvela Steel Alluminium is situated at D 24/A in the Upper Khatla area. Up here in the hills the weather can change quickly so we often have to move our materials inside when the rain starts. We work mostly with steel sections and aluminum sheets. If you walk past our place you will hear the sharp sound of metal being cut and the bright sparks from the welding torch. It is a local shop where we make things like window frames, gates, and various structural parts for houses. We don't have a big sales team or a website that looks professional. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw our work at a neighbor's house. The workspace is a bit open to the elements which helps keep it cool when we are doing heavy welding. We have a few guys who are really good with their hands and can bend the metal exactly how it needs to be. Sometimes the narrow roads in Upper Khatla make it hard to bring in the long steel rods on the trucks but we manage to get it done. We keep our tools organized on the wall and try to keep the floor clear of scraps. It is a basic operation but we have been doing it this way for a long time and it works for us. We just focus on making things that are sturdy and last a long time.
