If you are looking for us, we are up on the second floor in Akole, right near the Agasti cloth store. The address is House Number 505/4. Being in Ahmednagar, we get a lot of locals stopping by after they finish their shopping downstairs. We handle kuries, which keeps us pretty busy with all the record-keeping and monthly collections. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb, especially when it’s hot outside, but the office itself is decent. We have a few tables pushed together and some old cabinets for the files. It’s a simple setup because we don’t need anything more than that to get the work done. We know most of the people who come in, and we usually end up chatting about the weather or local news while we handle the money. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don’t wear uniforms or use complicated jargon. We just explain how the kuries work and get the paperwork signed. Sometimes we have a cup of tea while we go over the books at the end of the day. It’s not a high-tech operation, mostly just pens, paper, and a lot of counting. We’ve been part of this community for a while and plan to stay right here in this building. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people who know the area well.
