Vishwaleela Eye Clinic

Vishwaleela Eye Clinic is located over in Gaikwad Colony, right near the Swami Samarth Mandir. Most people use the temple as a landmark when they’re trying to find us for the first time. We are right across from Hotel Oberoi too, so it’s a busy little corner of the world. Being at 196/13, we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The clinic itself is pretty modest. we focus on eyes, which means we spend a lot of time looking at charts and using those bright lights to peek into people's vision. It’s a specific kind of work, but we like the focus of it. The morning sun hits the front of the building just right, usually around the time we start unlocking the doors. We get a lot of people from the colony coming in, but also folks who are staying at the hotel across the street or visiting the mandir. It’s never really silent because of the traffic and the people walking by, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us inside, keeping the equipment clean and making sure we have enough frames and lenses in stock for whoever needs them. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a few people waiting, but we manage just fine. We just keep things moving, one person at a time, every day. It’s our little spot in the colony.
