We are located at House Number 483 in the Padalital area of Pathardi, which is part of Ahmednagar. Our office isn't in a big commercial plaza; it’s just a regular house that we have converted into a space for the Nidhi work. We think this makes it easier for people in Padali to stop by without feeling like they have to dress up or act a certain way. We have a few desks, some sturdy chairs, and our files are kept in simple metal cupboards. It is a very straightforward setup. We spend our time managing the savings of the local community. Most of the folks who come in are people we see at the local market or on the road every day. We know their names and their families, which makes the work feel very personal. We don't have any interest in being a big, fancy institution. We just want to provide a safe place for people to handle their money. Sometimes we sit and talk for a while about the local news or the weather before we get to the financial part. It’s a slow, steady way of doing things. Pathardi is a quiet district, and we are happy to be working here. We focus on being honest and making sure all the math adds up at the end of the day.
