Uma Clinic

Being on Mantri Lane right on the Main Road in Pathardi means we see a lot of activity every single day. Uma Clinic has been at this spot for a while now. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside, but inside we try to keep things a bit more calm. We aren't trying to be some huge medical center with hundreds of beds. We are just a small local clinic where people from Pathardi come when they’ve got a cold or something else bothering them. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if I’m being honest, but the equipment works and that’s what matters. I usually have tea in the back between patients. We see kids, old folks, and everyone in between. Some days the waiting room is packed and other days it’s just me and the assistant waiting for the phone to ring. We don't use fancy medical jargon that nobody understands. We just tell you what’s wrong and what might help. It’s a practical way to run a business. Living and working in this part of town is okay. You get to know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular commuters. If you’re looking for a shiny corporate office, this isn't it. But if you just need a check-up, we are here on the main road. The front door sticks sometimes when it rains.
