Sundar Netralaya

Our clinic is at Chaupati Karanja, right by the Delhi Gate. It is a very old part of the city with a lot of history and a lot of people moving through the gates every single day. We focus on eye care, mostly checking people for glasses or seeing why their vision is getting blurry. The building is a bit aged, but we keep the inside very clean and well-lit because you need good light for eye work. It gets quite loud outside with the street vendors and the traffic coming through the gate. Sometimes the smell of fried snacks from the local stalls drifts in through the windows. We’ve been serving this community for a long time now. Many of our patients are older people who have been coming to us since they were much younger. We have a row of chairs for the waiting area, and we usually have a local newspaper lying around for people to read. My son is helping me manage things now, especially the computer work which I find a bit difficult at my age. We don't do any big advertising. People just know where we are because of the location. We try to be honest about what kind of frames will suit someone’s face. It’s a small, family-run operation and we intend to keep it that way for the future. We just open the doors and do our best every day to help folks see a bit better.
