Sukhya Clinic

Sukhya Clinic sits on Bholegaon Road here in Ahmednagar. It’s a straightforward kind of place where people come when they aren't feeling well. We handle general health issues. If you have a fever or a cough that won't go away, you probably end up here. The building is easy to spot once you are on the road. We’ve kept the interior simple. There are some chairs for waiting and a desk where we take down names. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, but we sweep it out every morning. We see all kinds of people, from farmers to office workers. Everyone gets the same treatment. We don't use big words or try to confuse anyone. We just talk about what’s wrong and what might help. Sometimes we have to tell people to go to a bigger hospital if it’s serious, but mostly we take care of things right here. It’s been our spot for a good while now. We know the families around here. We see the kids grow up and then they bring their own kids in. It’s a regular part of life on Bholegaon Road. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just show up or call if they have the number. It works for us and it works for the neighbors. We aren't open 24 hours, but we are here most days. It is just a small clinic doing its part for the local community.
