Over in Samata Colony, specifically in Ward 7 of Shrirampur, you’ll find us at Shukla Biotek Private Limited. We are located at 15/B, which is right near Ashok Talkies. Everyone knows the old cinema hall, so that’s how they find our street. We do a lot of work involving biological stuff and lab processes. It sounds more high-tech than it looks inside. Our desks are covered in glass vials, some microscopes, and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything we’re testing. It’s a lot quieter here than in the big markets, which is good because you need to concentrate when you’re looking at samples. The air usually smells a bit like cleaning alcohol or damp earth, depending on what we’re working on that day. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy uniforms. Usually, it's just a few of us in lab coats that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time waiting for things to grow or reactions to happen. Sometimes we just sit and drink tea while we wait for the results to show up on the equipment. It’s a slow kind of work compared to retail. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood because it’s familiar and close to home for most of the staff. We don’t do big advertising. Most people who need our help already know where we are, tucked away near the theater. It’s a steady life of science and small-town routine, and we’re quite alright with that for now.
