It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a big city market. Being located in a home-based office makes the whole thing feel a lot more personal. We aren't sitting behind thick glass partitions. We just have a few desks and chairs set up to help the people who live nearby with their savings. Most of the folks who come in are our neighbors or people from the surrounding parts of Pathardi taluka. We help them save a little bit of money every month and give them loans when they need to buy something for their house or their work. It’s a very local way of doing things. The paperwork is all done by hand or on a simple computer setup. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. Usually, someone is always there to answer the door if a member has a query. We like the fact that it’s a small operation because we can take our time with each person who walks in.
